September 23 & 24, 2008 (Edmonton, Alberta) - Touted as being the second largest proven reserve in the world behind Saudi Arabia, the Oil Sands of Alberta is estimated to contain over 1.6 trillion barrels of bitumen, of which over 315 billion are recoverable by current technology, with potential production (marketable) of 982.5 thousand barrels per day.

- This newly developed SWI - Safe Work Instruction has been posted for review and comment. Details were provided by the crew at C-GESG and subsequently a SWI was developed. The instruction was intended for AME apprentices new to the company. The information provided is valuable for all employees working on or around the service landing.
